Dermalaire Medical Spa (“Dermalaire”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website (www.dermalaire.com), book services, complete intake or consultation forms, use our mobile communications, or otherwise interact with us.

By visiting our website, scheduling or receiving services, or otherwise providing us with your personal information, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and accepted the terms of this Privacy Policy. Use of our site and our services constitutes your consent to our collection, use, disclosure, transfer, and processing of your personal data as described herein. Similar to other medical-spa practices, we treat certain information as “protected health information” (PHI) under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) where applicable.

We may collect information that identifies you or can be used to identify you, such as:

If you opt in to receive mobile/text (SMS/MMS) communications from us, you agree to receive those messages at the provided number, and message/data rates may apply. You may opt out (for example, replying “STOP”) at any time. (Other medical spas include this disclosure.) 

You may request access to the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, or request deletion of certain data (where permitted by law and our retention obligations). Some partner practices highlight this right explicitly.

You can opt out of marketing emails, SMS messages, or newsletters by clicking “unsubscribe” or contacting us at [Christian.infante@dermalaire.com]. This will not affect service-related communications (e.g., appointment reminders).

You may request alternative means of communication (for example: email only, no SMS) or restrict certain uses of your data, particularly PHI, whenever possible. 

Our website and services are not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors without appropriate consent. (See other policies for reference.) 

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards reasonably designed to protect your personal and health-related information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction. However, no system is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security—similar to other medical-spa disclosures.
We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide services, fulfill our legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When your information is no longer needed, it will be securely destroyed or anonymized.

We use cookies, tracking pixels, web beacons, analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or similar platforms) to understand how you interact with our website, to personalize the experience, and to deliver relevant marketing. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Some spa-policies are explicit about this. 

Because we operate as a medical-spa facility offering aesthetic and medical treatments, certain health-related information you provide may qualify as “Protected Health Information” (PHI) under HIPAA. We follow HIPAA requirements when applicable:

• We may use/disclose PHI for treatment, payment, and healthcare operations.
   
• You may have rights (e.g., access, amendment, accounting of disclosures) under HIPAA to your PHI. (Guidance derived from larger provider notices.)

Our website may contain links to external websites or services not operated by us (for example partner booking systems, product vendors, social-media platforms). We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third-party sites. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before submitting personal information. If you access our site from outside the United States, please be aware that data we collect may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States or other countries. By providing your personal information, you consent to such transfer and processing. If additional/regional laws apply to your location, we will comply accordingly.

Our website and mobile/text communication programs are not directed toward children under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors without appropriate parental or guardian consent. If you believe we may have collected information from a minor, please contact us for deletion. (Reflects model policies.) 

We reserve the right to modify or update this Privacy Policy at any time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date and post the revised policy on our website. Your continued use of our website or services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
